Mobilizing Growth with Learning Intelligence Systems


Executive focused on compiling content for training

As the first official technical sales executive at Vlocity, I worked directly with our product teams to compile content that would allow us to scale our go to market & selling efforts. 


Vlocity was started in 2014 and sold to Salesforce in 2020. At Vlocity we developed industry-specific CRM for 6 key industries such as Telecommunications, Public Sector, Property and Casualty Insurance. Each of these vertical solutions consisted of industry-specific data and process capabilities that were complimented by purpose-built UX. We also developed a series of tools that extended our core capabilities.  We grew from under $100k in revenue in our first year to approximately $150M ARR before Salesforce acquired the company for $1.3 Billion.


Key to our success was our ability to mobilize resources to address the most critical challenges of the day. During the first two years, our most important challenge was transferring knowledge and scaling 'The Voice of CEO' across our growing ecosystem of employees, partners, and customers. For the first 24 months, we did this with little to no automation beyond PowerPoint and Google Drive. In other words, we created content and distributed every variation across our ecosystem via email or shared drives. In the 3rd year, we undertook the challenge of implementing a learning management system. This was a bandaid, as we were developing software capabilities faster than we could document for external consumption. 


It’s this experience that led my cofounder David Wipper and I to jump on the AI rocketship and launch Mobeliz. We’ve patented and codified a process that we believe is 6x faster to deploy than traditional e-learning systems and at least 50% more efficient in driving productivity gains across our target audience. 


With the release of Learning Intelligence Systems and our first solution, Mobeliz Advisor we are empowering all front-line sales organizations to accelerate onboarding, selling productivity, and ramp time to revenue. Our early market research validates that traditional e-learning systems and reconfigured AI-enabled search platforms do not perform as expected and still require too much effort for their sales teams to acquire answers.
